As we get ready for the 2026 competition season, we are going to do a practice competition and test & tune session at Walrond Park.
This is a practice event. We will have courses and gates set up, but this is not an actual competition. This is a great chance for new competitors to get a feel for competition without the pressure of an actual competition day. It’s also a good chance for more seasoned competitors to try out their new builds or just come out and get some more practice in.
We will set up multiple courses, but vehicles will not be broken down into classes for this event. Run whatever vehicle you want on whatever course you want.
There is no charge for this event.
If you are using GPS to find the park, please use the address 7826 Enon Drive, Roanoke, VA 24019 instead of searching for Walrond Park, as that address will take you to the other side of the park. Across from 7826 Enon Drive is the parking lot you should use.
